Would you like to like to attend a basic CST Seminar from one of the Head Coaches?

If so how much would you expect to pay and what material would you like to be covered?

Dan,

I would love for you, Doug, and Brandon to come to NYC and hold a clubbell seminar. All you sick monkeys would be welcome in my town! I know several places in NYC which we can hold a head coach CST basic seminar. I think 200-500 dollars for a two day seminar weekend would be fair. If you ever decide to come to the best city in the world, then let me know.

Your friend,
Bao

Dan,

Most definitely!

Cost: Depends on how long, and how many days. . .

$200-400. . .

I'd definately attend a basic seminar if it was within an easy drive (6 hours max). One or two days. Books and videos are great but it'd be even better to get proper training with coaches who can correct form and offer advice for improvement. This goes for clubs or bodyflow.

If I could fit it in, I'd be happy to attend. Guess what I'd be looking for in a CST Basic Seminar, is how to #1. Do the basics (evaluation, critique, etc.) then #2. Teach the basics properly. Especially for those of us w/ not a lot of background in formal training to teach fitness, anatomy, physiology, etc.

Jeanne,

What you're decribing is the CST IC seminar. I think what Dan's referring to is an instructional seminar on Clubbell basics, BodyFlow, etc.

Ensuring basic performance competency and learning to teach the basics is the domain of CST Instructor Certification. A basic seminar would only regard #1 (ensuring basic performance competency) in other words.

I'm actually surprised that this has not already taken place! I am personally planning on holding workshops, clinics and seminars and would GLADLY pay to see any of the HCs do their particular "thang". (But, then again, I'd pay just to see Jarlo make that face he made at Eta. It reminded me of a man giving birth to a flaming porcupine. )

Best,

Hey now!!! Don't make me release any emotional content on your butt Doctor! "We'll go over to that island over there... I'll show you the art of fighting without fighting"!

Definitely that face indicated that my technique was not being performed at the skill level of breath mastery...

Hmmm, I think someone even explained that to me before....
Slightly dense at times.

But yes,
an instructional seminar on Clubbell® basics, Body-Flow™, etc. would be very helpful, especially for people trying to prepare for a CST IC seminar.

 Sorry Brother. I meant to say that that was the face of a man on the road to breath mastery, but somehow it didn't come out that way.

Believe me, my butt is carrying more than enough emotional content! I'm trying to cut DOWN!

"Don't you think we need more room?"

Peace!

Yes, I would be interested in the basics too. Like you said Jeanne, this would be great preparation for the CST IC.

As far as fees are concerned I can only go by what I have seen for 1 day yoga workshop/seminars in this area and that can run anywhere from $50-$100 a day depending on location and length of time.

If you ever want to head up to Canada, I'm sure many of us would be interested. Maybe $200-250 for a full weekend.

Great idea! The more people who can teach CST the better! $500 bucks seems reasonable for a weekend, maybe more?

Coach Sonnon should still lead CST courses at least twice a year. There's nothing like hearing it straight from the horses mouth.

Everyone thanks for your feedback, what part of the year would be most beneficial for everyone?

Bao,
Thanks for quoting such a realistic number,
I sent you a PM.

Would you like to like to attend a basic CST Seminar from one of the Head Coaches?

Without a doubt!

If so how much would you expect to pay and what material would you like to be covered?

Hmmm, probably $100-$200 wouldn't be an issue. That's the same range I pay for my Japanese instructors when they come over to the States.
