Taking two weeks "off" for down time to make sure everything is in perfect working order for upcoming assault on Girevoy Sport.

Will do daily Warrior Wellness, some Body Flow exercises, and some easy :?: bruiser lifting.

DROM

Tuesday Nov 4th
Warrior Wellness. I tried the advanced program yesterday - still need alot of work.

1 set of 5 Gama Cast with Bruiser Bell.

I will keep posting my DROM posts here cause if I don't I may cheat and skip them. So this log keeps me honest.

Chris,

What are you estimating your comp. numbers will be? I'm doing a lot of long cycle these days, also, and the prospect of 30+ LC's makes we want to hide under my sofa.

Some days, after some ratchet ladders, I don't know if it's sweat, tears or both pouring off my face

But I just can't stop :P

BTW, I'm not as skeptical of your 'about CMS' comment as others. Doing 40 + on a regular basis in your workouts as just one of your work sets.... sheesh.

Rufus

OH! Probability currently at 70% I can come to the LC meet, Ana and parents in tow!

Chris,

Reset is a great idea. How I long for the day when simple compitition ends basement dwelling "observations" . That thread will inspire my training from now till VA.

Will you post a "new" plan after this time out.

Have you tested snatches to see how the LC is effecting them, or will simply wait till after Fla. I'll bet your in for a nice surprise.

Rufus,

Got my hopes up to see you again. NC is too far a drive for me right now. As for my expectations for Feb. You will probably see the number come up in one of my training log entries, as I plan on acheving the goal I set for myself before the meet.

Bill,

I will be posting my new plan in a couple weeks. I haven't tried the snatches but haven't considered that Long Cycle may help them.

Nothing exciting to report.

Today I felt full of energy and felt like I was restraining myself from exercising. Taking resets is hard. :o

AM - 30 minute walk

Evening -
Cervical Infinities
Shoulders infinities, rolls, screws
Elbows infinities, rolls
Wrists infinities
Fingers waves
Thorax Circles
Lumbar circles,

GOt Interrupted- later did:

Lumbar clover leaves
Hips circles, infinities
Legs circles
Knee infinities
FCBD

The one thing about an online training log is, that if I didn't have one I would have skipped the second half. Bad Chris.

Doug said something memorable to me today:
Doing more is easy. It's doing less that I find so challenging. An obvious example of how real athletes battle overtraining more than undertraining.
Congrats on being able to stick out recovery another day.

AM
Warrior Wellness Beginner Program.
Its been a while since I did this one folowing the beginner tape. Learned something new today and further gained ROM and precious injury recovery :D .

Afternoon
ABCs
Gama cast 1 set of 5 reps for each grip - moving across in front
Muscle outs 1 set of 5 each grip
Bruiser Pendulums 1 set of 8 each grip

This was supposed to be an easy training day. I wouldn't call it that by any means. But it wasn't hard by any means either. I'd say moderate. Could have gone either way. Done a few less reps to make it easy, or a few more to make it hard. :)

Totally awesome day.

PM session 3rd session

WW Intermediate.

The ABC workout today worked my body from heel to head. A totally awesome workout. Tongihts WW session relieved all residual tension and I am feeling ready and willing to take on the next step in my progression. Still I have to battle to undertrain a little more so that I can go into the final 3 months at full throttle. Best I've felt in months. This rest is right on. MOre of the same tommorrow, slightly less reps.

Chris, well done, amigo. Just remember you're not "undertraining" but rather "recovery training." Different altogether. You're doing your work... well.
