My friend has a disc herneation in the L-5 S1 region of his lumbar spine. The disc is half way out of his spine pressing into the sciatic nerve. The chiropractor says she could help him get it back into place, the surgeon says he needs surgery. What exercises could I show him to help it? Anything in polozhenie or Warrior Wellness could help? He goes into severe pain when standing so he has to use a walker. I showed him some polozhenie on the earth and tried to align his spine a little. And it seemed to help. I also showed him some biomechanically efficient movement so he could lay on his side better like a variation of the position of assurance shown on retuinskih's tape. That seemed to help too.
Does anyone here have any other ideas?

Alex,

You posted the same thing in the Warrior Wellness section of the forum. Please see my response there.

3rd party requests are very dangerous, especially when you may not know what questions to ask, nor how to assess his movement, structure and breathing. Ask your friend to come on to the forum and then we will be glad to try and assist.

It's been over a year since we last heard from you Alex. Good to see you posting again.
