I've been tuning my "bandwagon" workout to accomidate my training partner and this passed sunday we had our first strength test.

Platform Loading (116lbs. sandbag) Vince: 8/6 Colin: 5/5
(this is number of reps in 1 minute. 2 sets with 3 minutes rest)

15 Second sprints (bag on pallet and dragged) : Vince: 49 yards Colin 36 yards

Sprinting backwards: Vince: 32 yards Colin 29 yards

Seated pulling of 1/2 ton Chevy truck with 1.5 inch rope: Vince 6 times till grip failure Colin 5 times till grip failure.

(the rope is only 12 feet long, so we would reel it in and the other would push it back out.

Pushing said truck: 2 times to full exhaustion

The obvious weak link in the whole cycle is the grip. The sandbag is a nightmare to get a hold of and by the end of the first set, the hands are ruined. Same thing with the truck "rowing".

Sprinting backwards is one of the most evil things I've done to my legs. With that 15 seconds on sunday, I'm still walking a little funny today.

With this information, I'll tinker with our workout and post it and then in 3-4 weeks, we'll test again and see what the numbers look like.
