Cody has to have submitted the most original and creative exam I've had the privilege of reviewing to date. In his training progression, he managed to lucidly speak in 3rd person from the anthropomorphic perspective of the exercise viewing Cody trying to learn how to perform "him." It startled me at first, but then... was quite enjoyable.

Also, although not required, he also submitted a movie of his exercise which he composed called Hurling (http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/images/hurling.mov)- a very impressive use of shock absorption and restranslation.

Cody's been a highly active member in many ways, from Softwork to CST to the upcoming Body-Flow Softwork seminar. Although looking half his age, a testimony to his good physical work, this 42 year young athlete and coach is about to launch his competitive BJJ career... "just because." I respect that, and his intelligent, responsible progression shows compassion and patience.

I'm proud to have him as a member of the Instructor Cadre.

Welcome aboard, amigo! Your access privileges have been upgraded, so hit refresh.

Cody!! Great job! Please put those exam things in the magazine!

I really liked Hurling. Will you also do Larrying and Moeing please? So smooth and hypnotic. My favorite.

Thank you so much Coach Sonnon for your kind words and for the opportunity. I unabashedly state that I truly enjoyed working on the exam as soon as I stopped trying to 'whack it out' and just did it at the pace that felt appropriate.

I've had many "Certifications" in the years of being a Health Coach and Personal Trainer, but none feels as rich as this.

It makes me think back to the short path I've followed:

Feb '04 - First introduced to Clubbells - love at first swing

April '04 - Owned first pairs of Clubbells

April - October '04 - Purchased various tapes, books and DVD's

October '04 - Attended inaugural Softwork seminar - now I'm hooked

October '04 - April '05 Purchased & studied lots of tapes, books and DVD's

April '05 - Attended CST Eta seminar

July '05 - CST certification!

My humble thanks to everyone for your help and support.

I look forward to more deeply 'finding my voice' in this community.

Cheers and all my best,
Cody-
