Hi all-
I am Irish graduate student and don't know very much about health and fitness beyond very basic stuff, which is why I am here to lurk and hopefully improve my knowledge in this area.
My main area of interest is martial arts / self defence. I train and sometimes teach in a Bujinkan dojo, which is essentially a synthesis art made up of old-school japanese martial arts ( http://www.iol.ie/~alexm ). Some of you may know Cilian McHugh, who has the dubious pleasure of being a training partner and friend of mine. I am also interested in the area of reality-based self defence training and preparation.
In the past I have watched and benefited from Coach Sonnon's Athrokinetics series, which helped me to analytically understand much of what I was fumbling through by feel alone. Also I have found useful motivational and mindset-related articles from the CST crew.
