Hello,

Is body flow anything like grappler's toolbox? If I already have GT (I just have the first volume) can I get by with just the bodyflow book or is it still a good idea to get the dvd?

Thanks.

The presentation of the material in Body Flow is an improvement on what was presented in GT. The theory and explanation has evolved tremendously. BF goes into detail on the components of biomechanical exercise, kinetic chains, training flow,... It's much easier to understand and to program into your training. When I first got GT, my first exposure to RMAX about 5 years ago, we had all these exercises but we weren't sure what to do with them. BF makes this very clear. I find BF more accessible for beginners.

That being said, I still make use of GT, it's more of a video encyclopedia of exercises, and there are many exercises on GT that are not included on BF.

You could look at it still another way, if you consider GT as Body Flow for grapplers - a more sport-specific exercise selection. But of course anyone can benefit from it.
