Hello. My name is Art. I have been involved in the martial arts since I was eight years old. I have walked proudly on this earth for half a century, serving my country (USA) just as proudly. I work at a midwest University as a "Campus Cop." I love movement and the sense of unity it brings once mastery has been achieved. My forte, if I actually possess one is "CQB" for lack of a better expression. I am a staunch skeptic, constantly entertaining that sense of, "Show Me!" I never take myself too seriously, I love to laugh and am open-minded, but always skeptical until a sense of validity and reliability is established. The martial arts is a strange arena fraught with wannabes and wishful thinkers...so I strive for clarity and balance.
