Coaches Sonnon and Szolek,
I am curious whether you have any idea now how many people will be competing, or at least have expressed an interest in competing, in the OCS event in February. If you are keeping a tally, you can put me down as being extremely interested, but unsure whether I can make the cross-country trip. Which leades me to my next question: are there any plans yet for competitions in the general East Coast area?
Thanks,
Casey

Casey,
Let this be a poll for those who are interested. We are unsure of the numbers. We have no plans for any CHAMPIONSHIPS after the first because we want to conduct this first event, assess the strong points and the weak points, revise any organizational difficulties to enhance athlete enjoyment. Then we can look forward.
However, we strongly encourage you to hold your own competitions, even if only with 3 or 4 Clubbell athletes.

OK, so it's going to be me, Coach Sonnon, Coach Szolek and Brandon Jones.
I'm shooting for a solid fourth place.

Depending on where, when, and how strong I am by then, I might actually think about coming... dunno if I'll be strong enough to compete, but I'd love to watch.
If I do, I hope to place fifth, right under Casey. :D

I'll be there. Competing or not, just being there will be something to tell your grandchildren about when they are watching it in years to come on their 3-D holodecks, broadcast from an Olympic Stadium in some far off land. :)
Casey,
I will be working on an East coast event some time after the Seattle comp. Where are you located?

I'll be there, also. I hope to compete, but that will be dependent on an elbow injury. (see rehab forum) One way or another, I'll be there to show my support.

Bill,
I live close to Washington DC. Are you talking about an Olympic Clubbell Sport event? Any idea when exactly? I have a feeling there would be a good amount of East Coast people who would be interested.
Casey
Casey,
I need to work this out with Coach Sonnon after the West Coast comp. Obviously we would like him to come, but that's a major deal. Hopefully we can work out a good date. Maybe late April/May before summer vacations begin.
Next time I'm in DC - best friend lives in Rockville, maybe we'll hit the Starbucks.
