Hi,
I am searching for info on the best method for recovery of a torn bicep muscle. Not the tendon, but the belly of the muscle.
While I was spotting a student on front handsprings, I had my right hand on his lower back and when he came down my bicep made a ripping sound and part of it rolled up and part of it pulled down. Quite creepy looking.
Anyway, the doctors said the only thing to do for it was give it time to heal. There was nothing they could re-attach as it was the belly not a tendon or anything like that. My arm works fine beyond being very weak.
If anyone has some experience with this please let me know.
Thanks,
Rob Renner
