Coach, I read recently when you suggested to a contributor who wanted to loose weight to start off with a pair of twenty fives.
I found that interesting (for me). You see after starting with kb’s almost 2 years ago I have lost 60 LB’s. After experiencing a herniated disk last spring I started slowly with a pair of 15-LB cb’s. Focusing on proper form and projection of the clubbell though out all movements. Knowing that my grip would be “one” of the stumbling blocks towards partial CB fitness so to speak, I focussed on swings, cleans, armpit casts, swipes and mills. Al while wearing a hr monitors. My focus is on fitness and being 51 years young looking forward to another 50 or so of swinging clubs. Weight loss and now maintaining that loss is important, with focus again on diet, exercise, and flexibility . So to keep it short for now would you suggest a pair of twenty for me as well to maintain? Thankyou in advance.

The situation did not regard 25lbs Clubbells. I advised him that we would cut his weight 25lbs at a time (for 100 pounds total weight loss.) When I return from a client this evening, I have some questions for you before I can answer whether I suggest 25lbs Clubbells yet. For now, what are your baseline numbers with the Mill and Swipe with your 15lbs Clubbells?

my recent work outs have simply been, swipes, mills, lunges, various grinds all worked in together. Today with hr monitor (on as aslways) in the target zone for 45 min never stopping, switchng hands , and not going over 15 reps per arm. The most double handed mills i have done is 18, could have done more but felt like form was breaking down and was tired after a long workout. swipes are simply 9 with the right hand , 7 with the left. however ,, i have not "really" tried to see just how many of each i could do. I have a long day tommorrow , so I will get back to you tues night and let you know just how many of each I realy can do. any sugestions for this undertaking? thank you for your quick response

Peter, when you can hit Minimum GPP Requirements (http://www.circularstrength.com/newcertreqs.html), then you can go higher in Clubbell weights. I'd suggest 20s next though.
