Dear Tribe,

I would like to request your participation in our goodwill fitness unity charity pledge drive, called PLEDGE YOUR SWEAT (http://www.fitnessaid.org).

http://www.clubbell.tv/images/fitnessAID_top.jpeg

Would you please send this invitation to your audience, and also would you be willing to participate yourself in our fund raiser to help the victims of the Katrina crisis?

The event involves the following: Fitness leaders and organizations from around the world have banded together for increasing public awareness of and financial aid to the victims of the Katrina crisis. Together as a fitness community, we have the opportunity to raise up to hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Katrina relief. 100% of the proceeds will go directly through them and 100% directly to the Katrina victims.

We named this event FITNESS AID because as a physical culture community need to redefine what it means to be fit. What are we 'fit' FOR? Fit-ness is our ability to take effective and expedient action. What more dire circumstances could EVER require our action? What more crucial could we be "fit" for???

Contested Worldwide - October 14, 2005. All you need is a partner to count your repetitions and time you, and of course, pledges.

Fitness Organizations, Fitness Gyms, Health Clubs, Yoga/Pilates Studios, Martial Art Schools, Competition Gyms, Sports Clubs, Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire/Paramedic Departments, or any other organization may enter the PLEDGE YOUR SWEAT Fund Drive. You and/or your team will be displayed on the FITNESS AID website as a contributing sponsors! or, and be listed in the event flyer.

If you intend to participate, download the pledge sheet and entry application (free) at www.FitnessAid.org.

On Friday, October 14th, around the world, the PLEDGE YOUR SWEAT Fund Drive will be contested on the "honor system" (have a partner time you and record your repetitions).

The contest involves 32 sets of basic calisthenics:

The First 8 Sets are of Pull-ups.

The Second 8 Sets are Push-ups.

The Third 8 Sets are Sit-ups.

The Fourth 8 Sets are Squats.

Each set will last 20 seconds. All repetitions must be completed within those 20 seconds. Following there will be a 10 second rest. Immediately after the 10 second rest, the next 20 second set begins. 20 seconds activity / 10 seconds rest (called the Tabata Protocol, and the above brilliant program developed by Greg Glassman of Crossfit.com, who is being invited to be an honored guest at the fund drive).

In other words, the entire event will be contested in exactly 16 minutes. The total number of repetitions of all events will be tallied. Between now and October 14th, contestants will collect pledges of X number of dollars/cents per repetition.

By October 20th, please collect all of your pledge donations and have it postmarked by midnight.

Even if you cannot do even one repetition of one event, and only one repetitions of other events, every single dollar helps!!! It's not about winning, but DONATING your sweat to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The individual who collects the greatest number of pledge money will receive a Clubbell® Pro Gym from RMAX International. (This prize may grow as other organizations are donating prizes.)

Please let me know how you would like to be involved. It would be an honor to have each of you as partners working alongside the rest of us in this good cause. Thank you in advance for your support, and God Bless your efforts!

Due to the flood of requests to offer help for those who cannot attend the seminar in person, I'm working quickly on an opportunity for people to contribute aid now, rather than waiting until October 15th Relief Seminar.

Please stay tuned.

I'd like to volunteer.
Climb Tech has made a donation to the red cross and a private donation to the family of one of the climbers in our crew.

There have been an incredible amount of CST Athletes, Instructors and Coaches offering to fly in for the seminar. Your Samaritan offers have been just stunning for Jodie and I! However, instead of flying or even driving long distance for this seminar, we're working to create an immediate opportunity for people to contribute the cost of traveling to volunteer.

Thank you, Joseph. You and Climb Tech are inspirational!

Coach,

Thank you for using your power and influence for the higher good. I remember what you wrote, "When insidious threats imperil our social fabric--strength holds us together. When needy or threathened comrade extends a hand for help, let our hand channel strength enough to aid and protect." This our philosophy of strength and let us all work together with love and gratitude to help our fellow Americans.

Your Student and Friend,
Bao

Just finished a conversation with my contact at the Red Cross Nat'l HQ. The Red Cross is behind FITNESS AID 100% and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Katrina victims.

Thanks to everyone that makes any kind of effort during this time of peril. This is what I believe, really holds our country together. Best wishes for health and happiness to all the victims of Katrina. Please folks, lets give these people RMAX. They deserve nothing less.

Scott and Jodie,
Thanks for doing what you do. You inspire us all.

For those who may have misunderstood, you do NOT need to attend the benefit seminar on October 15th in order to participate in the pledge drive which is happening world wide on October 14th! All you need is a partner, a stopwatch, a pencil and pledges. Download your entry form and pledge sheets here: www.FitnessAid.org
