CST Carnival Clubbell Workshop

You asked for it, and we’re happy to accommodate you with another workshop from the CST Carnival Instructors. At the 1st Annual CST Carnival we whet your appetites for the various aspects of CST; now we’re going to give you a more concentrated emphasis in one area of CST – Clubbell training!

The CST Carnival will host an all-day workshop on Saturday, October 22nd, 2005 at the West Picnic area in Mercer County Park, NJ. This is the same location where the first Carnival was held.

This workshop is specifically designed to address different aspects of Clubbell training:

• Basic Clubbell techniques
• Creating Clubbell combinations
• Catch-22
• Two-handed Clubbell training
• ICS Competition techniques and strategies
• Training protocols (5X5, Density Training, etc…) to help you reach your goals faster.
• Fat loss
• Aerobic conditioning
• Hypertrophy
• Strength
• Muscular Endurance

Registration begins at 9AM; the workshop will begin at 10AM.

The workshop price is $50.00. Please bring cash with you the day of the event to cover your registration. We will not accept personal checks or credit cards.

As a reminder, if you have Clubbells please bring them with you. One set that you’re most comfortable with (remember, you’ll be using them all day), and if you have a Clubbell that you can use for two-handed training, we ask that you please bring that as well. Clubbells will be available for attendees who do not own their own set.

RMAX books and DVDs will be available for purchase at the workshop.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there and having a fun time together again.

You can pre-register for the event at: CST Carnival Clubbell Workshop (http://www.njclubbell.com/CSTCarnival/)

This will most likely be the last CST Carnival event of 2005 (Jersey gets COLD in winter), so everyone should make plans to come out next month and participate!

For the sake of keeping this notice in the public eye, and the fact that this will be my 600th post on the forum, I am selfishly bumping this thread to keep it active.

You can count me in again. I'm trying to put some money together now, so I can pre-register. I can't wait to play another day. :D

Are you doing any challenges or raffles again?

FYI: Anyone that can make it to this event, please do. It's a great time for all, plus you'll learn something new. See you there.

Dale,

We're offering prizes for the mini-ICS competition, but not like we had for the 1st Carnival; you actually have to work to win this time!

Didn't you win enough free stuff the first time? :)

Josh,

If winning a prize is part of giving the event RMAX, then I shall give my maximum everytime. Besides, I need to try and complete my RMAX/CST library.

hahahaha, fair enough, bro. Then I suggest you start working on your Swipes and Mills; you have about a month! :P

Any details for the competition? Such as Clubbell weight and number of points. Is it just like the ICS competition or is it "mini"? Let us know.

Any chance we can get a tentative head count on who is planning on attending? It will help us to figure out the specifics for the training schedule.

Thanks in advance.

Myself and my cousin Joe will be attending. That makes two.

Anybody else out there? We need more participants to come to the Carnival and enjoy the great time we'll have. See you then.

Hi Dale,

We'll be having a mini ICS competition. It'll only be 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes for each combination. The rest period between the two combinations (Swipes and Mills) will be 15 minutes.

The men will be using 15lb Clubbells and the women will be using 10lb Clubbells.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

Looking forward to seeing you there!!! It’s less than 2 weeks away!!!

Take care,
Chris

I will be attending as well. I was unable to make the Carnival this summer, so I am really excited about this opportunity.

Just in case some of you are wondering if we're still going to have the Clubbell workshop if it rains, the answer is yes!!!!

There is a Pavilion at the West Picinic area in Mercer County Park that we can train under out of the rain. We'll be there rain or shine!!!!

See you there on Saturday morning,
Chris
