Hi All:
In June 2003, I underwent an arthroscopic surgery to reapir a labrum tear. I have come a long way since in gaining back and improving on my strength. I had tested my shoulder in different planes in my workouts with Clubbells and KBs and pullups/Dips. It wasn't until this craze for Over Head Squatting caught me that I realized that some movements may be beyond my physical capabilities.
I am trying to practise staying in the groove with simply a broomstick handle and a few shoulder dislocates with the same but even this leaves me sore in my repaired shoulder for days. Is there something I can do to help me overcome this or wil I have to avoid attempting this at all?
I do warrior wellness drills as my warmup or cooldown atleast twice a week and my workouts are mostly crossfit style circuits with KBs and CBs.
Your thoughts and inputs are are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
