Does anyone have any sugestions on how I can restore my posture? I belive that my hamstrings are full of tension thus causing my hips to rotate backwards and causing my lower back to have an extreme curve. If I stand up agenst a wall I can easely slide my arm between the wall and my lower back

John,

There are specifics which will help release the restrictive forces and restore and build the driving forces to realign the homeostatic 'balance'. However, the basis of involves a general daily 15 minutes session of Warrior Wellness head to toe, core to periphery.

Then, I'd suggest building up to a Be Breathed Spinal Rock (including a Shoulder Bridge); and eventually building up to Diving Dolphin and Spider Monkey flow chains.

Thanks Coach,
a few more questions if I may. I've been doing warrior wellness for about six weeks and do see good results. Concerning the shoulder bridge in Be Breathed I haven't found it on the dvd. Also you sugested diving dilphine and spider monkey flow chains. Is there a subsistute I can do with the info found on the Body Flow dvd: I assume these are on the Phasara dvd which I dont own yet.

The shoulder bridge isn't on the BB DVD. One of the basics behind CST is to perform a Compensatory Movement. BB (aside from its foremost purpose) works your abs and a lot of muscles on the front side of your body. A Shoulder bridge will work the back a bit but, perhaps more importantly, will allow the front to relax the tension accumulated during the BB practice. You can find resources for doing shoulder bridges on this forum or pretty much anywhere on the net. You might also want to search the forum for 'Comensatory Movement'. Coach Sonnon did an article on that (which means checking Connies Quick CST Mag index might be a good idea also).
