I met Joseph Wilson many years ago when he was inducted into the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame as America's top instructor of the year. Folks, I saw clips of the DVD in Scotland on Coach Wilson's laptop, and personally witnessed the 3-day performance enhancement that Coach Sonnon writes of. Joe also put me through some great drills at Theta and set me up with some homework for our next meeting.

The DVD looks good since most of my kicks have never had a lot of height, but I'm not actively training at this point in MA of any sort. How is the training for general purpose hip mobility?

I made this video to address kicking specifically, so for general hip health I would say go with warrior wellness. I am sure there would be some carry over if you got the video, but unless you are training to kick higher or faster, WW would address your concerns more completely. Talk to you soon. Smile.

I received my copy last night. Simply put, no kickboxer or foot fighter should be without it.

Don't waste time any longer with static stretches and splits that could be damaging your kicking performance (at worst) or wasting valuable training time (at best). Coach Wilson's dynamic range of motion drills provide a focused session that you can slip into your personal practice to literally send your kicks through the roof.

I have to echo Coach Chomycia. This series has inspired me to explore new directions, has shown me some holes in my game that need to be addressed, and has revealed to me ranges of motion that I have not yet freed. I'm incorporating it into my personal practice starting today, and hoping I'll be ready for the next installment!

I received my copy a few days ago. Yesterday was the first day I was able to view it and perform the practices. Coach Wilson downplayed it to me as something for beginners -- puhlease...basics are where it is at and there is something for everyone to learn from in this DVD, he was being modest. I have not kicked high in years and was able to recover over 90% of my mobility performing the DVD once. The concepts are clearly explained and demonstrated.

I have only two complaints. The first one is that the cover claims it is suitable for family viewing, however, when Coach Wilson does his little Elvis the Pelvis hip circles, I would have to cover my girlfriend's eyes -- just teasing Coach. Secondly, having experienced Coach Wilson's energy, charisma, and guidance live and in person -- a one dimensional recording does not do him justice. The DVD is motivating, don't get me wrong, but compared to live and in person -- it just is not the same. It is like seeing your favorite musician live as opposed to a recording. The experience is infectious, but for those who have not had the fortune to work with him in person yet, this will have to do.

I was walking around the kitchen going -- whooo! My girlfriend asked me what that was about, I told her one word -- Joe and she smiled and shook her head. She has met Coach Wilson. Let the bug bite ya, and invest in this DVD now!

As far as I can tell, this DVD is still available. I ordered one about a year ago, and can't recommend it enough. Although I am not a martial artist, I've had a lot of "issues" with my hips, and this program did wonders for opening them up.

I see what you mean now. When I tried the link it went straight to a search engine. At the last IC, Coach Wilson had mentioned that he had sold his school. But I wasn't sure how much change was going to happen. I think Coach Wilson also took a different job that consumesw a lot of his time which may explain the lack of response to your contact attempts.

Have you tried amazon or e-bay?
