Hi folks

I'm (very) interested in getting the Flow fighting / flow state tapes. I'm not sure exactly which is the best to begin with. My options are -

(1) Flow State performace spiral (2 videos)
$69.99
http://www.rmax.tv/fsps.html

(2) Flow state audio tape
$20

(3) Flow Fighting (1 video)
$50
http://www.rmax.tv/flowfight.html

So -

(1) I get the feeling the Performance spiral tapes are almost "pre-requisites" for the Flow fighting tapes. Is that correct?

(2) Does the audio tape cover most of the content of the two videos? Is it ok to get the audio tape in place of the flow fighting videos, or will I miss out on too much detail? In other words, do the "Cliff Notes" provide enough detail (assuming they're Cliff Notes ;-)

(being Xmas time, I've spent most of my cash, so have a finite budget. I'm trying to decide wether to get (1) or (2) + (3)

The long and short of it is this - the mental aspects of my grappling game suck. I beat up on myself, get dispirited and quit a lot sooner than I should, amongst other hang ups. Which series will help me begin to address this?

Come on guys, I know you're looking at this post - I can see the "viewed" count ;-)

Your gut feeling, that's all I'm asking for. Yes, no, maybe?

If you have a lot of time in a car (or other space with a tape deck) I would get the audio tape first--especially if your feeling a little tight right now. It shares most of its information with the Flow State Performance Spiral videos.

The FSPS videos are great and very comprehensive. If you have the cash (and prefer to watch rather than just listen), I would start there.

Personally I found I got more out of Flow Fighting once I watched (several time) the FSPS videos.

But that just might be me.

Hope this helps,
Chuck

Get the FSPS!!! IMHO this is one of the best videos around. It took me several viewings to get it to sink in, but it's well worth it. It should be in the library of any athlete (combat or otherwise), anyone who wants to improve performance, and especially anyone interested in self-protection/self-defense. I can't reccommend it highly enough.
