4 Fitness Programs, Plus Technique Instruction on 1 DVD

The thousands of people now practicing Prasara Body-Flow Yoga asked for key instruction on how to break down flow chains into their components, since the Prasara documentary film was about the Breath Mastery Scale and how it integrates with structure and movement. I set myself about creating a template for understanding how to create steps. Though this is the core competency of Circular Strength Training in general, not everyone takes the leap of attending the seminars right away. So, I created a DVD which will help people immediately.

Another request people had been making consistently is a Prasara flow chain specific for burning fat and building muscle. So, RMAX made the arrangements with our film crew and production company and we filmed the flow which I use in my personal practice.

FlowFit is a Four Phase, incrementally progressing multi movement chain from Prasara Body-Flow Yoga. It is uniquely constructed based upon my years of hitting every angle of the human motor condition (engineering's version of the 6 degrees of freedom:
1. Moving up and down (heaving);
2. moving left and right (swaying);
3. moving forward and back (surging);
4. tilting up and down (pitching);
5. turning left and right (yawing);
6. tilting side to side (rolling). By uniquely addressing all 6 degrees of freedom to human motion in one concise Prasara flow, very amazing results happen not merely immediately, but perpetually.

This equipment-free course is designed to take you off the couch, with the most basic levels using a stool or chair as an aid. Following these simple guidelines, FlowFit will catapult you all the way up to elite athleticism in only 14 minutes per session, 3 times per week.

This DVD is specifically designed for peaking you at 14 minutes through CST's unique method of Intuitive Training, which is thoroughly, though simply explained in the introduction. The DVD is broken into three sections: and Introduction to the training theory of CST Intuitive Training; a section devoted to instructing the specific mechanics of breath, structure and movement in each technique; and a follow along section on the four incrementally challenging flow chains in the program.

This sounds awesome! Every new product is increasing in complexity, yet more concisely boils everything down to digestible components and formulas!

The refinement continues...! :P

Look forward to seeing it, Coach!

This is the most amazing thing to me... even though I'm WAY behind the curve... watching as, even over a short time, these concepts deepen, intertwine and coalesce. I really don't want to sound wide-eyed, but it's a little like being in the middle of history.

Thanks Coach! While I really like the Prasara DVD, my intuition has been looking for something like this--Prasara and Clubbell workout are almost what I've been looking for, but there was something missing. As soon as I read this announcement, I wanted to start right away! Guess I'll just be patient...

Scott,

would the best order in which to proceed, with regard to the New DVD coming out, be: 1) Intu-Flow, 2)Prasara Yoga and 3) Flow fit?

As always, I enjoy your products. I hope you have more coming this 2006.

Oh, and Happy New Year to eveyone!

Tony,

Intu-Flow lays the foundation to all things RMAX. It's really a matter of choice after that. Take your time and enjoy the process. If you're looking for a step-by-step, follow-along approach go with FlowFit after that, but if you're going for the whole "improvisational" enchilada, take a bite out of the Prasara documentary film after Intu-Flow.

Happy New Year to you, too!

Just my own 2 cents' worth. In my personal opinion, FlowFit is a perfect entry point for Rmax: infinitely adaptable, and capable of being modified into a brutal, complete workout. I referred to it as "a train that starts slowly, but goes all the way there." Use it at a (perceived) exertion level of, say, 5, and it is restorative. At a 7 it is integrative of all athletic aspects. If you run, lift, roll, box, whatever, it will ensure that no single aspect of your fitness overshadows the others. If you take the lid off and "go for it," so long as you obey the protocols (technique level 7-8 or above) you can create a kickass fitness routine to compete with anything on the market. I begged the Coach to design this: I knew what was needed to allow ANYONE willing to invest an hour a week to raise and then co-ordinate their energy (and raising your energy is central to improving your life) but I simply didn't know how to create such a program. Just being honest here. But I believed that Scott could do it. He is, quite frankly, in 40 years of searching THE most innovative person I've ever met in the arena of body-mind work. And he created it. People, FlowFit is just a freakin' great creation. Just wait until you see what we do with it in the Path workshop!

do i have to fly down?

more importantly, do i need to do prasara first? (and this is a deal breaker, they probably won't let me do it on the plane...)

Scott Sonnon
01-12-2006, 07:16 AM
No, they will be ready for order soon.

FlowFit is a stand-alone course!

SteveB
01-12-2006, 10:37 AM
FlowFit is a perfect entry point for Prasara. Your grandfather can do it, if he can walk for 20 minutes (Coach reccomends a minimum of 14-18 minutes). This is an insanely smart approach to exercise: ANYONE can start the process. It can be used for active recovery, or as a kick-your-butt routine. No previous Rmax experience necessary. Great, great stuff.

I admit, one of the things that made up my mind in signing up for the Path course in April was the opportunity to get this FlowFit DVD at the door. Does this make me a bad person? :oops: :lol:

I've been known to choose a restaurant just because my daughter will get a free blue balloon. Silly, but important. Can't argue with happiness.

Where/How does body-flow fit in with this?

Scott Sonnon
01-14-2006, 11:51 AM
Todd,

Can you expand your question a bit? I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

Tractador
01-14-2006, 01:08 PM
Not Todd, but..

..maybe he´s wondering if Flowfit connects to Bodyflow the same way that Prasara connects with Bodyflow.

BodyFlow = Individual BMEs and Kinetic Chains

Prasara = Kinetic Chains

Ie Prasara builds on Bodyflow

Flowfit = ????

Scott Sonnon
01-14-2006, 03:32 PM
Prasara Body-Flow yoga is the name I generally use to encompass this aspect of CST.

FlowFit is a stand-alone kinetic chain within Prasara Body-Flow which addresses all of the general fitness needs of any individual, beginner to elite athlete, while giving them entrance into the internal realm of movement - what we here know as "flow."

twolov
01-15-2006, 09:53 AM
My real question, then, is this the best starting point to learn/capture "flow" compared to your earlier tapes.

Scott Sonnon
01-15-2006, 10:03 AM
Todd,

"Best" is as best does. Whichever course most interests you will be the best for you. There is built-in redundancy into all of the courses so that it will be impossible for you to fail so long as you embrace the course which you enjoy the most. If FlowFit holds your interest most strongly, then most likely it's the ideal entry level for you!

Guys, thanks for your trust in the RMAX product line. I guarantee you that even a professional athlete will be lucky to be able to handle even 10 minutes of Phase 4; yet simultaneously, if you've never been physically active, then Phase 1 will help you get back into awesome, pain-free, flowin' shape!

AWESOME, just put in my order. So pumped for this.

Excited to see that the pre-order wait period is very short as well !

I'm glad I feel that Intu-Flow is going to be keeping my attention for a while as I won't be getting my copy of FlowFit until the Path workshop. I have a feeling I'm going to want the improved range of motion before I try this. Might keep from embarassing myself that way... :oops: :lol:

Joseph David
01-27-2006, 10:57 AM
Aaron,
There is no embaressment being where you are. Just be and every thing while be ok. Progression is a given if we are just present to the here and now. You'll be just where you need to be.
Enjoy the process.

Aaron,

I'm also waiting until the Path worshop for FlowFit.

Even though I'm very tempted to pick it up beforehand, I realize that I still have quite a bit of work to do with Intu-Flow before I should move on to something else.

I view it as a very positive thing, as it's forcing me to slow down and not jump too far or hard into everything. Forcing me to have a little patience will probably help in the long run =)

SteveB
01-30-2006, 08:54 AM
You'll be fine waiting until the workshop for FlowFit, but you'd also be fine picking it up ahead of time and beginning your practice. I would say to trust your instinct on this one.

hey coach any chance you could leak a little info about what all these upcoming projects are? Most of the time you can atleast guess what kind of product a company will put out next but you keep me guessing to the point of exhaustion.
