When doing the advanced WW leg infinities the following has been observed which I was wondering is on the right track.
As the leg passes through the infinity a somewhat medium speed is established at which a feeling of continuous stored elastic energy is present. The motion of the leg can open up and the infinity enlarged by using the entire body and recruiting all joints up through the spine (and head) and out through to the hands which as a result take on their own circles/infinities which changes a bit with each type of leg infinity. Balance is easily maintained and the entire body feels like warm liquid without any interfering connection points.
Is this on the right track?
Although the motion does not contain a specific MA technique is could be easily transformed into one by taking a given arc of the infinity and straightening or bending the arc or certain segments of the arc by tightening or loosening the combined joint structure as required for that particular application. The resulting arm movement could likewise be used for example as counterbalance for faster leg execution if the technique was a kick or as contact points for sweeps, leg assisted throws, etc.
To continue to deepen the practice of leg infinities during WW should other aspects be consciously explored (and what are these), does doing the infinities on a regular basis with a relaxed yet attentive mind frame naturally reveal more, or is there another approach?
