i have started doing my warrior wellness twice a day now along with a couple of the exercises i feel i need to work on at odd moments throughout the day.
i am beginning to really feel the benefits of this as more and more do i seem to glide through the day, rather than jerk haha.
something i have beginning to be noticing though is that i get really hot while doing it. it's not the kind of hot that you get from working up a sweat.... it's more like a fever, an internal heat spreading outwards.
just found this interesting. wondering if it is perhaps the burning up of toxins or something like that?

Damien,
Could be cause to have a checkup with a physician. Could be cause to take a look at your current seasonal nutrition. Could be that you're releasing formerly locked nutritients into your system through the course, which has restored a leakage to your immune system, and now you're currently combating some bacterial or viral threat.

thanks for your reply coach.
i should make myself a little clearer.... it's not a nauseating or sick feeling i get.... just internal heat.
i have got the same kind of hot feeling in meditation.
that could be my answer.
anyways my feeling is that it's a good thing rather than a bad thing.
but i will keep observing it and see where it goes and what happens...
I totally agree that there is an "internal" dimension to Intuflow similar to what I've experienced in the past with stance training/standing meditation that I learned from Ken Cohen's Way of Qigong and Lam Kam Chuen's books.
One related source I've found is on the sandowuk website. Check out Farmer Burns book. He says that swinging around 5lb dumbells generates "nerve force" that allows him to beat much stronger opponents when he wrestles. I have heard similar things on the sandow site re: indian clubs and light dumbell training.
Intuflow is much funner than standing practice, but I find that I still like to do both and that it is fun to end an Intuflow session with standing meditation and pranayama as the bioenergy is really revved up.
If you are interested, feel free to keep track of my training log at taobums.com personal practice section. I'm Yoda there too.

Damien,
I'm not sure what your question is, then. Can you restate, please?

I didn't really have a clear question I guess.
I was just curious what it might have been, causing me to get hot while training.
Anyways it's not a big issue haha.... it has been diminishing now. I have switched from warrior wellness to intu-flow (oh wow do i enjoy it! even the beginner program adds a whole new level of sophistication to movement) now and instead I have a lot of popping of joints. Not while doing the movements, but after when I am returning my arm to the beginning position or going to pick up a cup of water....... pop pop pop. I'm like a rice bubble!
I assume that this will probably decrease with time? It's not painful in any case.
also I was watching the introduction of the body-flow tape (what a great lecture! if you ever come to sydney again i'll be there without a second thought) and you mentioned about kinetic chains in terms of musculature. how it bands from one side to the other.
i have an injury on my right shoulder from when i used to do aikido. a big friendly giant went to throw me and by accident at the last moment he stepped on my foot and threw me hard.... i went splat straight onto my shoulder.
it has never been the same since. the bone is literally bent out of shape, deformed and the end of the clavicle sits slightly higher then the shoulder joint forming a little bump on top of my shoulder.
it doesn't seem to impede my movement and it's not painful or uncomfortable. i have been to see chiropractor/acupuncturist but there wasn't much they could do for me.
but now i have trouble in my left knee...... i guess it's likely this is the kinetic muscle chain from my shoulder to knee huh.
i don't know why i brought that up, i guess i couldn't be bothered writing another thread hahaha.

Sounds like maybe you seperated you AC joint. I have two similar bumps, one on each shoulder.
Good luck with your training, and I am glad it does not impede you.
Cheers,
