Name: Ryan
Age: 26
Weight: 155lbs.
Height: 5' 9"
Bodyfat: Approximately 17-18% (terrible, I know)
Flexibility: Terrible!! especially and comprehensively in the legs.
Experience: Some bodyweight exercises (Hindu pushups, squats, handstands, bridging-after reading Coach's article, I'll switch to the Neck Roll)
Diet: omnivoir, approximately 1800-2100 calories per day, protein-30%,
carbs-40%, fats-30%
Equipment: Ordering a pair of 10lbs. clubbells, video and book
Goals: GPP: bodyfat-7%, build 15lbs. of extremely lean, FUNCTIONAL muscle mass and extreme functional flexibility. My foundation and balance need a lot of work, I have weak knees, weak ankles, and flat feet.
I want to accomplish these goals using bodyweight exercises, clubbell training and nutrition. My funds are extremely limited, I need to make the pair of 10lbs. clubbells last as long as possible-(a year if I can) and I do not have access to a gym. I have not ordered the clubbells yet... Should I, in light of my goals, buy one 10lb. and one 15lb. clubbell instead of a pair of 10 pounders? Also, with limited funds, what suggestions for flexibility does anyone have? Thanks in advance for all suggestions, and if I need to be more specific please let me know.
