Preliminarily K, WW shouldn't cause soreness, unless you're forcing the motions. WW is more of a relaxation exercise than an exertion one.
To get a more definitive answer, how long have you been doing it? What's your general condition and flexibility? Trouble in the hip area before? More details the better.
Rick
i would say my condition and flexibility are pretty good i am a compettitve skier and i am pretty in tune with my legs i was also doing for 1.5 years active isolated stretching by the whartons i did have some i t band problems left leg following meniscus surgery 8 years ago

Gotcha Rich, thanks, I should have read your intro/bio first.
No straining/discomfort/inhibited motion while doing WW? Maybe you've found a rough spot in hip ROM that will take some time to rehab. Go easy with it.
Check back for more definitive answers, I'm strictly a layman. Been using WW going on 3 years, it's gotten me over all kinds of stuff, I'm 57yo and inactive for a long time prior, now grappling and kickboxing weekly.
