View Full Version : Intu-Flow - whence comes the RPE?

OK... here's a question that should make someone laugh, from sheer simplicity.

So, what we're after in performing these, or any exercises is the litmus RPD<3, RPE>6, RPT>8.

Now, I understand pain, and I understand technique... but I seem to be a little polluted with regard to effort.

Specifically... let's say I've got the "egyptian" to RPD<3, RPT>8, but I simply am not feeling that it's taking anything like RPE>6 to perform.

In order to call the slate clean, how do I jack the RPE up? Speed? Reps?

I know we've talked before about men having a problem with reporting effort... to the effect of "either I'm bleeding and throwing up, or I'm probably not really trying." And I've got that little issue down pat.

But manly or no, I'll be hornswaggled if I kin figger that lil' arpy thingie.

Help?

KD,

With the dynamic mobility of Intu-Flow, set your goal to decrease the effort of the movements below an RPE of 6, not above. An RPE of 6 or higher typically indicates either wrong focus (upon exertion) or the internal resistance to the movements caused by residual tension and/or myofascial density.

Perfect sense.

In which book is Intuitive Training most completely covered?
