I see all this NHE, BodyO, Pasquale, etc. talk and it makes me wanna try it out. I think i might, after Jan 1st at the earliest, it sounds like fun.

Right now though, what i'm doing ain't broke. Today isn't a day i that would normally step on a scale, but i was visiting my roomie's office ( He works for an industrial scale co.) to determime the weight of a weight vest i remebered i had a few days ago(it is 33.5 lbs, BTW) an i could't resist stepping up.
268.5lbs.
I was 294 on oct 13 (the beginning of low-carb for me) and 307 july 13th after vacation.

Dave,

Get through the holidays without gaining or get to 260 by 1/1 the go for it. I'd say NHE cause I fear those all weekend carb outs. Also i have had success timing my workouts with the carb/burnoff phases. I have found it easy to go very low carb on the "on" days even though NHE really only gives you 4 meals off.

I am doing breakfast and lunch rather then lunch and dinner and it's working fine. This way i don't mess with my wife's straight low carb.

Bill,

Just out curiousity, what have you been eating on your carb ups? From previous posts at DD I presume you have been mixing fat and carbs? You do not seem to be suffering any ill effects from mixing the two. Good enough for me! I plan on going out to the all you can eat asian buffet on Thursday. Sushi and Coconut shrimp here I come!

You're right. I think the key is the insulin shot. I try not to eat any meat or peanut butter, but I'm not worrying about whether there is some fat with the carb - the incredible edible donut. Not the "best" way, particularly if your really trying to loose weight, but I'm just trying to stay at this BF, and gain a few pounds of muscle, so far so good.

I plan on a full report in a couple weeks.

Sounds good. Can't wait to hear what you have to say.
