Does anyone do any type of grip training besides CB"S? If so, what are your favorite exercises and how has it benefited you?

I have, in other times. But the clubs are doing some pretty funky things to my grip, so I don't worry much abt other stuff now.
Previous tom fooleries -
I use to enjoy pinch gripping a fair bit. Could pinch grip 45's for 30 seconds, years ago. Impressive with my buggy whip like forearms ;-)
Crushing potatoes with bare hands is fun. And hey, you can make mashed potatoes with em afterwards ;-)
Tried a few times, but never could succeed in tearing the Yellow Pages in two.
Tried to bend a coin once. Once and once only ;-) Guys that can do that must have INSANE finger strength.
Always was curious abt steel / spike bending, after reading an article Scott wrote on the topic 3 or 4 yrs ago.
Plus other dumb, routine stuff we've all tried - chin ups with towels, wrist rollers, finger tip push ups, deadlifts.
(BTW, the best increase in forearm size I ever got was from deadlifts. Increase by 5 inches in 8 weeks. I think that's pretty abnormal. Down side - paralytic low back pain)
Grip strength is a circus act I sometimes faff around with. You can find serious grip strength folks over at the Grip Page forum.

I dunno Jay. this Torch Press crush, forward leverage etc seem to be taking care of business
