First off let me say that having had the priveledge to learn from Coach Szolek first hand, he walks the walk. He is very strong, and extremely agile. Combine those two thing and you get something you very rarely see, an agile strongman.

In his 45lb training manual, Coach Szolek clearly explains why Circular Strength Training is vastly superior to linear strength training. After reading this chapter alone you will be armed with more knowledge than 99% of fitness professionals out there, and you will take your fitness and health to soaring new levels.

One thing I learned from writing my own book on kettlebell sport, is that it is very difficult to explain an exercise in writing, so that the reader can perform the exercise both safely and effectively. Doug does a superb job with this. There are over 55 exercises in this manual, and you can start on them right away.

There are several different training protocols in the back of the book which you can follow to meet your goals, be it functional hypertrophy, inhuman endurance, or simply raw power in extreme ranges of motion. No other training modaility can give you the strength gains from Circular Strength Training and Coach Szolek's Anabolic Bruiser Conditioning crank's up the strength gains a notch BAM!

Read this Manual, grab a heavy clubbell and start swinging you way to graceful strength and agility throughout your body's full range of motion.

I stretched my budget somewhat thinner than was probably wise and ordered the ABC manual, just got it yesterday. It is outstanding; I feel it is required reading for anyone interested in functional hypertrophy. I recommend it, without reservation, to anyone on this forum who is even slightly interested in the topic. In addition, the quality of this manual and the info in it has convinced me that I need to get Coach Szolek's "OCS" guide as well.

If a video is not available soon, I am going to have to find a stop on Coach Szolek's tour and get some 'live' coaching...I may do it anyway. (A recent Saturday seminar with an RKC certified instructor improved my kettlebell lifting in several respects, and I have been playing with kettlebells off and on for 2 years. It was the best investment of $50 bucks I could have made  ).
