View Full Version : Cocktail time is over. I really need advice.

After reading the Circular Strength Training book I realized I have been cocktailing my training for too long. Trying to accomplish too many things while seeing minimal results. While my strength has increased, my flexibility/mobility still leaves alot to be desired and even when I eat right (or as close to right as a truck driver can) the fat just doesnt seem to want to go away. So I decided to focus on fat loss.

Can anyone help me with a program.

I am 41 years old.
6' 205 lbs.
About 25% bodyfat (did my own caliper measurements and that seems high but I am sure I could stand to lose about 25 to 30 lbs of lard)
Good health (just had a physical this week).
I have a 1 and a 1.5 pd KB and two homemade clubs. (Will be getting a pair of Clubbells after I get some responses to other post).
I drive a truck Monday through Friday from about 6 pm to 6 am. I can usually get away with a couple of 15 to 20 minute breaks, and I also more often than not have a stop in that time frame. Stop times vary. The rest of the time is spent in a sleeper cab.
Eating on the road always poses problems so any help in that area would be greatly appreciated also.

Thank you in advance,

Kevin

Kevin,

Clubbells are the ideal fitness tool for the road-warrior. Get over to the Diet forum for guidance.

A couple 15-20 minute sessions spread across the day opens you to the benefits of Double-D (see CST Mag): the optimal metabolic fat-burning machine.
