Hi All,
Wanted some advice.
A female friend of mine has been told that she has torn the abdominal muscles that connect to tthe centre of the top of the pelvis (forgive the narrative guys I am not too good with the jargon I am guessing at pyramidalis). This is probably partially related to a difficult bitrth and inproper recuperation thereafter.
She is gonig for a cortisone (sp?) injection. I believe this to be steroid in nature annd I am assuming it is painkilling.
I do not believe it is possible to repair the muscles without surgery (tendon reconnection?) but wanted to know
1. Is there anything to assist in pain relief
2 are there any erercise that would benefit the area itself or the surroounding muscalature without causing further pain?
HOpe this make sense.
