i've been kind of dabbling all over the place with no real goal in mind other than the desired outcome of increased strength and mobility.

recent discussions have caused me to evaluate this a little deeper and to question at this point... what is my goal?

well i have been saying for sometime i want to begin breakdancing, and at this stage there is only 5 months until i leave sydney in which i can begin to attend classes and get instruction (i have some dvd's on breakdancing techniques, but would rather work with an instructor for a while first).

so i am trying to come up with a thp to address this.

i would like some help and any suggestions will be taken on board.

but what i was thinking was a little like this:

GPP - need to address first and foremost the strength needed to support myself in freezes and so forth.

for this i was thinking of doing a density cycle of the 2 club forward pendulum as locking it into order is the same kind of position that most freezes (building upon a planche) come from.
to expand this i was also hoping to add the forward pressure program that i just ordered.

i was thinking (depending on how long forward pressure takes?) of doing forward pressure in the morning, and the clubs in the evening with vibration drills in between club sets and doing this 3 times per week.

also was going to begin each morning with first practicing mobilized strength to begin really getting the deep strength needed in my joints for breakdancing work.

what would be good for active recovery days???

SPP - this is where i need to begin addressing the mobility and fluidity needed.

was going to focus here primarily on body-flow exercises, 3-4 times per week, with different exercises each day, just playing and exploring and trying to increase in sophistication and complexity.

intu-flow intermediate and hopefully heading into advanced in the mornings.

in this stage i will also begin to attend classes to learn some of the basics.

to add complexity to the strength gained, maybe clubbells 2 times per week, building off the forward pendulum and into snatches, armpit casts, torch presses then lateral presses, and in+out pendulums?

SPS - this is where i begin to link the breakdancing techniques together and get some flow happening.

with the clubs increasing again in complexity into swipes and then 'warrior be strong' and getting up to mills.

MT - takin' it to the streets where local bboys hang out and busting a moove ;)
