    14-18 mins & neural-immuno-endecine responce

    Hi,

I have been trying to find some research on this topic, there is not much. Can anyone go into depth as to the reasoning (physiologically) behind the 14-18 mins and the changes that take place in the body? Does this happen in all constant movement of that duration, ie. running, circuits, cycling. Or is it just because it is this type of joint mobility?

    Thanks

    Omar

    14-18 minutes

The response kicks in with any simple, sustained, rhythmic endurance activity (running, rowing, walking, etc.) and probably less so with more complex motions. In essence, any activity where you experience "second wind" has this to a degree.
