    Flow fighting Comments...

The FlowFighting® seminar was a great experience for me as a CST coach and as an athlete. The connection between CST and FlowFighting® was self-evident for all of us who attended this event. During the seminar and hardwork this truth was a constant reminder of the importance of our daily CST practice. If you are not practicing CST, then you are definitely behind the learning curve in my opinion. Fortunately, my CST training gave me the experience to appreciate the simplification of the FlowFighting® system. As Coach Joe Wilson said, “You cannot fight with Intu-Flow® but you cannot fight without it.” The professionalism, humor, wisdom, coaching, and expertise of each FlowFighting® coach were EXCEPTIONAL and worth every ounce of sweat, discomfort, and investment. Thank you head coaches for sharing your experience we us. I must also give credit to each member who attended this seminar. The time I spent with these men gave me a lot of respect for them as warriors because they all gave their best without egos and did the work without taking “notes”. You guys deserve more credit than the FlowFighting® coaches because without you they would only be talking heads. It was a honor to train with you all and I hope we can do it again. All in all, the rabbit hole for FlowFighting® is much deeper than what is presented the DVDs and books. Anyone who thinks they teach FlowFighting® without attending a seminar needs to stop and do a reality check. Trust me, you cannot simply learn FlowFighting® from books or DVDS alone. You have to get direct coaching from a FlowFighting® coach and attend a seminar. If anyone wants to learn FlowFighting® and/or want to improve their MA than this seminar is for you. Do you need to have a background in MA to attend a FlowFighting® seminar? NO. Actually you are better off not having one. I have seen MA newbies at the seminar doing "advance" stuff without give up. Respect to the newbies!

    Bao,

That's one of the main messages that I personally wanted participants to take away from this seminar. That CST is the foundation of FlowFighting®. That the skills and attributes you build in your personal practice shine through on the mats, and further that they form the basis of your FF movement palette. The other big message is that FlowFighting® is a complete system composed of subsystems that cover all aspects of conflict. It isn't a frankenstein amalgam of different games, but rather springs forth from a coherent Doctrine. That's why all of our individual modules melded together so solidly - the Strategies and Tactics are the product of an overarching Doctrine. IMO this is totally new and unique in the world of martial art and MMA. It is truly the next evolution. Seeing it all come together amazed me as much as it did the participants.

Bao, as always a pleasure to work with you my friend. I hope that one of these days we'll get a little more downtime at these events. But you know how the boss cracks the whip on us...

    Bao,
It was an honor and a privilege to hang out and practice FlowFighting® with you. It is the first of many, my friend. Happy Training,

Mitch - It was great to meet you and finally have a face to go with your name! Thanks so much for your assistance at the end; you are a gentleman fighter. Wish we'd been able to swap leather (and bruises) too, but perhaps next time. *GRIN*
