    Question on frequency

I am preparing for the NYS police academy. In my physical prep for the academy I am utilizing both clubbells and Kettlebells. I am also running 2-3 times per week. My plan is to perform 2 sessions of Clubbell® training and 2 sessions of Kettlebell training.
Do you think that this is a proper schedule?
I am also including pull-ups/chin-ups and ab work on running days.
    Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Is your training for general preparation, or for passing a PT exam? If the latter, how long do you have before the exam, and what are the details of the exam goals?

    Prep for Police Academy

I am trying to gear my training toward general overall fitness. I used the same type of system after I joined the Army, but before Basic Training. Back then I did bodybuilding exercises along with running and bodyweight exercises. It worked out pretty well and basic training was no problem.
Luckily for me, I now train for functional strength instead of big stupid bodybuilder muscle, and I am sure that working with the clubbells and KB's will give me better results than I have ever had before. I am just not sure how many days per week I should train. I have about 6 months to prepare.

    Thanks Coach

Go with Double-D at CST Magazine. Use a Ratchet Ladder (do a search here) with your pullups.

    Thanks Coach

This is absolutely perfect. I can't wait to put this new information to use.
    Thanks again.
