It seems far easier to sit back on your foot, but then I don't think the weight is evenly distributed. It's hard for me to feel out the weight distribution in this pose though, since I'm unfamiliar with it.
    Hi!

Glad you liked the free pdf! Yes, equal weight distribution is key. The Shin Squat and Triangle Squat are primarily transitional poses, so the proper weight distribution is essential to have a smooth flow in and out of the postures.

When you start to explore chaining movements together you will start to realize where your weight should be.

    Thanks for the question!

Also, an update on the expanded e-book. We have it all together, but need to figure out the distribution issues. As soon as those are hammered out, we will release it.

    Merry Christmas!

    Hi,

We are no longer offering the free preview of the Primer. It was up for a long time, but we removed it when we lowered the price of the e-book.

If you are interested, you can click the link on my signature to check out the e-book.

    Thanks for your question!

    OK, thanks for your reply.
How is your book different from any instructions Coach Sonnon offers?

    Hi,

The ebook outlines detailed instructions for 5 different Flows (with 3 levels of difficulty each), other than the 5 shown by Coach Sonnon. The asana (postures) are varied and the transitions are of a different character than Coach Sonnon's.

Also we have an introduction to the basics of performing Prasara, with advice about breath and progression. This was written before the current Prasara book just released by Coach Sonnon.

I wouldn't say the instructions are "different", it is still Prasara, but the wording and the style is our own.

    Hope that helps!

If you are interested in Prasara, let me assure you that this is well worth your time and attention. I have had the privilege of being able to work with Coaches Hurst and Ilano at a seminar, and of using their online material as well. I found their approach very helpful. If you check this out you will not be disappointed!
