After two nights last week sparring and Saturday fighting in armor, I think I have aggrivated the meniscus in the knee. It's very tight and the Medial Colatteral Ligament is tender. It's not the first time I've done this, (I've torn the meniscus twice in the past) but the first time since I've joined RMAX. I've had some massage on the calf muscle ans around the hamstring and thigh and it helps ease the immediate tension for a while.
I'm taking anti-inflammatories(ibuprofen) to ease the pain some. I can walk without a limp today but it still tugs at the knee and I can't do a full trinity squat becauses it hurts when I do that so, I don't.
I've also been using the downward Dog pose to help lossen up the legs and Intu-flo to get the joint lubed. So I'm just wondering is there else I need to do?
