    Saturday February 9th 2008
    CST® 101
    Introduction to Circular Strength Training®
    10:30am – 2:30pm
    Milford, MA

Sean Flanagan is presenting an in depth introductory course in Circular Strength Training®. This 4 hour intensive course is specifically designed for people who want to take control of their own fitness and learn how to implement concepts from the most effective and efficient fitness program available.

A few key areas of focus of this workshop:

Intu-Flow® Beginner Level – Learn the most results-driven dynamic range of motion/joint mobility program available. This program is ideal for providing nutrition and lubricating your joints, preventing nasty side effects from aggressive forms of exercise as well as preventing wear and tear typically associated with aging.

Clubbell®® Training – Learn basic Clubbell®® exercises from many different exercise families – Cleans, Presses, Swings, Pendulums, etc. Learn how to take basic exercises and put them together in Combination Routines to trigger a greater synergistic training effect for athletics.

Prasara® Body-Flow Yoga – Learn how to use basic yoga postures to eliminate excess tension developed from daily life and from your conditioning programs. Learn how to use sophisticated transition movements to enable you to get deeper into postures and to improve your overall athleticism.

In addition, you will be put through a CST Metabolic Conditioning Session - a workout that is simultaneously an intense cardio workout and a daunting strength training program. This is a beginner level sample of one of Sean’s highly effective programs for both general fitness enthusiasts and professional Mixed Martial Arts fighters.

I am really looking forward to doing this workshop and seeing both new and familiar faces. I can say from experience that nothing charges up your enthusiasm towards training quite like working together with other CST athletes - seeing what other people are doing and how you can greater improve your skills.

As of now, I am looking at this seminar being a breakdown of roughly 30 percent Intu-Flow®, 50 Percent Clubbell®® Training, and 20 percent Prasara. 4 hours is both a lot of time and provides us with the oppurtunity to explore a lot of material, but on the other hand it only gives us a tiny chance to explore the ocean that is CST. So by all means, provide me with feedback on what areas you want to focus on.

This sounds like a great introduction to CST, and an excellent opportunity for more experienced practitioners to deepen their understanding of key material.

    Have fun!

Plus Sean is a great guy to work with, and fun to boot (oops, Murdock might take that as "boot to the head"... fun to spend time with, I mean.) If there's any way you can make this workshop, don't pass up the opportunity!

Actually, now that you mention it, Flanagan is a lot of fun to kick around...

And a hell of a first-rate CST Instructor as well. I worked with him on a seminar down there near the beginning of 2007, and can assure anyone who is sitting on the fence that you'll come away with new skills that you'll be able to implement immediately, and you'll pull off movements by the end of the day that you never thought you could do.

    This Workshop just SOLD OUT

If I receive enough interest by this Sunday, I can swiftly organize another workshop for February 16th. Otherwise, I will be posting details on a new workshop oppurtunity shortly after I return from CST Nu.
