Yes, but vaccines are not the only problem. Dr. Natascha Campbell McBride healed her son from autism with nutrition.
She wrote a book about gut health, nutrition and autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dispraxia etc.

and here is an interesting you tube video. Interview with Campbell McBride (modern crap diets ruin and antibiotics ruin the digestive track of mothers and children).

Refusing to give every single vaccination to your child is a sure way to tick off your doctor.

Hepatitis B is now recommended right after birth whether or not the mother has it. It is transmitted via blood contact only (sex, birth, and used needles) since we didn't see any exposure risk we refused it; you would have thought we had signed his death warrant.

We questioned why the Varicella (Chicken Pox) and our doctor said that CDC had a vaccination so it more of a "since we have one lets use it" and there are probably economic reasons in that it prevents having parents to take time off from work, since in so many families both parents work. I remember, not too long ago, everyone with kids taking them to visit an infected child so that they made sure their child got it while young. Now they vaccinate them without anyone having any idea what the long term effect will be because there are no long term studies on most modern vaccines. We asked our doctor if the final booster shot lasts through adulthood and he said that no one knows it hasn't been around long enough. So when a bunch of adults start getting shingles they'll know.

Of course, now that they vaccinate for chicken pox, the odds of an unvaccinated child getting it is less likely, so we are put in a catch 22.

None of our children have had a flu shot and of the vaccinations we do allow, we space them out, especially when under two. Giving our newborn 3-4 shots at a time just seemed wrong.

You'll get guff from most doctors, but you do not have to do any of them, you as the parent still have some say in the upbringing of your child. Even when it comes to public school, the back of the vaccination form has a release that no one will tell you about, they just tell you that they are mandatory no matter what, but that is not true.

We and some of our friends have had to change doctors, some have had their doctor ask them to go to another practice (but that was for refusing all vacs).

It's kinda of like how Microsoft releases a new product. They make sure it won't kill anyone outright, but if there are any other issues we just see what happens after we release it.

I'm glad I don't have to make these kinds of decisions, Steven.
As I kid, I suffered through - and nearly didn't survive a couple times - whooping cough, scarlet fever, mumps, chicken pox, and three kinds of measles, along with respiratory infections every winter. Missed weeks of school and a couple times most of summer vacation. (At 8 years old, after measles in June, I got to go to the beach but wasn't allowed near the water. Big wow.)

The polio vaccine came out the same summer the kid down the street contracted it and later had to wear leg braces for years, but that one missed us.

When my boys were babies, I had no qualms about them receiving the measles/mumps/rubella & polio vaccines to miss all the misery I went through, but chicken pox? And Hepatitis B?! Not available back in those dark ages.

What next? A vaccine that makes people use their turn signals? (Maybe that's not a bad idea...)

    hello,

stevenhogg, agreed. doctors do not like to hear "no" when they are recommending something. some of them get really pushy. some of them will do it no matter what you tell them.

    thanks
