posture and blance, and grip question?

I got indo board, and on the dvd they ask for blance that you tuck in your pelvise and keep your knees lose. the knee problem isnt one but to tuck in your pelvise im not sure if it goes againts the cts posture to keep crown and coccyx aligneds unless you tuck in your chin or put your chin forward. when i say againts the cts posture i mean to keep the curve in the spine to absorbe the sock.

Last thing, any trick for grip with clubells when sweating? as time goes by after the first set i cant keep a good grip. The clubells seem to slip off because of the sweat. is it better to get training gloves or to use an other method?

    any suggestion is a preciated.

I have not seen the specific video you are talking about, but I have owned and used an Indo Board off and on for several years. I think that they are trying to get people to maintain structural alignment when they say tuck the pelvis. They are perhaps encouraging people to fight the tendency to lean forward on the board, and rather asking them to keep there hips under their head which is congruent with CST alignment. Again I have not seen the video, but I find I am able to use the Indo Board without violating notions of good structure.

I am not the best person to answer the sweat question because my hands are the one part of my body that doesn't sweat. Athletic wristbands can at least help keep the sweat on your arms from running down onto your hands. If you are having major problems, I think I would choose chalk before going to gloves. Also depending on how long you have been training, and how much sweat we are talking about, I would suggest that the slippage might be grip failure rather than sweat related.

    Hope this helps,

Keep a damp towel on nearby to wipe off the sweat off the handles.

-maybe you right for the indo board. because he was talking about buttitist, where you stick you but out to much. But when he tucks the pelvis in it seems his back is all most flat

-Well me i sweat from the plam of my hands and just a bit from the fingers. towel wont work because i build up sweat pretty fast when my heart is beating quickly or my body temperature is high. Grip failure is only a minor part in here. bucause i know if it wasnt slipping away because of the sweat i could do a few more. I will try chalk to see if it helps. im open to other suggestions.
