    Travelling with clubs??

Hi guys, I'm pretty sure this question has been asked previously on the forums but I was wondering what experience anyone has had when travelling with clubs. I am attending the next CST seminar in Bellingham but live in the U.K, I will be picking up a pair of 15lber's and also a pair of mini clubs whilst there and am hoping to fetch them back in my luggage, is this possible/practical, I know the clubs will need to be packaged properly for protection but would hate for them to be confiscated by customs:(

You'll have to check them (it's a pretty good bet that you would not be permitted to carry them onboard.)

Depending on how much your checked baggage weighs, you may pay a surcharge.

If you're catching a flight out of the Bellingham airport, they're totally used to us weirdos and the heavy iron we pack. (just warn them before they hoist the bag off the scale.)

I've taken clubbells to Mexico with no problem: customs permits some weight-training equipment. I carried the book along in case I needed to prove they're legit, but other than an amazed look from the customs officer, I had no problems bringing them in.

I've had no issues traveling with mine. I usually split my clubs between two bags to make sure I come in under the bag weight limit - to avoid paying extra baggage fees.

Also, I have found the bags I put the clubs in seem to regularly get checked by the authority after they're collected at the counter. They always leave me a nice little note that my bags were inspected.
