    My new passion

Hell my name is Ian Johnson. I got involved in club swinging about 2 years ago. For the longest time it was just the homeade versions (ive tried them all). After seeing the results that i was getting from heavy clubs i finally maned up and bought my First Clubbell® which was a bruiser. Should of listened to everyone else because man this thing was a beast. Im finally at a point where im able to do most of the two handed training exercises and its become my obsession. Ive also been getting into yoga and i have been doing the free intu flow exercises daily. I competed in powerlifting for years and it tore me up but now i feel like a new person. I only wish that i would of stumbled upon cst years ago but im still young so im looking forward to this new journey

    Ian,

Welcome to the forum. I would recommend that you get some of the lower weight clubbells so that you can explore the full journey of the CST experience. The bruiser is a little limiting. Daily intu flow is the key. I'm happy for you that are getting good results. It only gets better as you move deeper into your practice. Keep us posted on how you are progressing. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks for the support mark Im going to purchase two 25's here shortly also. I have definately seen a huge improvement in my life since doing intu flow daily so i can definately agree with that, because of my past practice with heavy homade clubs and maces i was able to jump into authentic Clubbell® swinging a little easier. The real deal is more difficult and im really working on my form but i was able to start a little heavier than most because of that.
Strength isn't just a attribute, its a way of life

Nothing beats the balance of the real deal. In working with the heavier weights, along with any movements, is the importance of maintaining a RPT (rate of technique) of 8 or above. Focus on good technique and making sure that you are utilizing the appropriate mobility warm up exercises and compensatory poses to decompress from the heavy weights (any weight) will keep you pain free and moving forward. Maintaining good technique with a 35 is very impressive. Great job. Keep up the good work.
