Litany, thanks for subscribing! It means a lot to me to know that someone is interested in hearing what I have to say.

BigornaJohn, if you end up making a DIY rack that is both up to the task of holding the clubs and safe to use, please share it with the forum! We have seen designs for DIY clubbells and parrallettes, but I think a DIY rack would be very helpful to those of us that don't have access to a manufactured one (I've never seen anyone that owned one, except for myself). I'm not sure which video(s) in this thread you watched, but either way, I'm glad you found help here on the forum.

I've never seen a Clubbell® up close but wouldn't any of a million different baseball bat racks work just fine?
Maybe with a small tweak to accomodate handle size and weight?

I just did a google search for "baseball bat rack design" and got 2,250,000 hits.
I bet one of them would work

The problem is that pretty much all of them are designed for the weight of your typical ball bat. he ones I am seeing utilize some form of rack anchored to the wall. You need some serious hardware to keep that on the wall given the weight of the equipment I see some people have. I can't imagine one of those racks tolerating 100+ lbs hanging from it.

I believe what people are looking for is something like a floor mounted cage designed to tolerate the weight of the clubs (a single bruiser is 45 lbs). I have a pair of 15s and a bruiser so I am keeping my eye out for something that will work.

I couldn't pass up the challenge of a DIY club rack so here is my attempt. I went on the side of overkill with hardwood and the 4x4 posts but It should outlive the clubs.
you could do the whole thing out of 2x4 pine and I think it would hold up OK.
