    Hi there!

    Hello there!

My name is Werner. I'll be 35 yrs old this month. My background is:
Studied Shotokan Karate from ages 5-14. Continued to stay active after leaving (running, weight lifting, heavy-bag work) despite some unhealthy
habits like smoking and drinking (lots of) beer. At 25 I moved to another state to find work, and since then have sort of lost touch with physical culture.

About two yrs ago I saw a Matt Furey ad in a Martial arts mag and was
inspired to start training again. I bought Combat Conditioning and
promptly began working out. Unfortunately, nagging joint problems kept
interfering with my training. As I explored ways to deal with my "injuries",
I came across Pete Egoscue's book Pain Free. That helped me a lot, but I felt I was still missing something.

I first heard of Scott Sonnon on one of the internet boards, Animal
Abilty. I was very intrigued. After doing some research, I purchased
the Warrior Wellness tapes. I was so impressed I then bought the
entrire Zdorovye series, and later the Clubbell® video, BodyFlow, and Be
Breathed. I have not been disappointed.

I am currently practicing the Warrior Wellness moves on a near-daily
basis, and would like to incorporate more and more of the Zdorovye
system. I'm training for overall health but would like to gain some
strenth as well. Anyways, right now I'm specifically focused on
lowering my blood pressure and losing the fat that's accumulated around
my midsection. My wife and I also walk at a nearby park three times a
week. I'm taking it slow, because I have had a tendency to overdo
things when I begin to exercise. This time I'm in it for the long
    haul.

To make a short story long, I guess I'm just a guy trying to get back
some of the pep and "springiness" I had a as a kid ( I was a real
monkey-boy, constantly running around and climbing on things!).

I guess that's about it. I'm looking forward to participating in this forum.
