    TEAM BODY-FLOW

I am proud to announce that I will be accepting nominations (including self-admitted) for RMAX's TEAM BODY-FLOW. I have quite a few ideas where we can take our Team, and what they are capable of accomplishing.

I am nominating Dan and Max as co-captains. They'll be in charge of creating the artwork, developing the list of selection requirements for the team, and assembling the potential outlets for the team demonstrations.

    Be sick.

    That's a great idea :!:

I think the Team Body Flow concept would be great for a whole host of reasons (not least of which is the inspiration and motivation it will provide for everybody).

Selection requirements are a great idea as it can give everyone something to aspire to (kind of like the Clubbell® GPP or Ironminds COC list).

If I may be so bold, can I suggest the idea of having the proecedures in place for the selection requirements/qualification to be able ot be assessed via video like the OCS qualifier. I think it could be a great way to help drive home the idea that CST is more than just clubbells (which is the attitude/opinion that still seems quite strong in the mainstream strength training community). I think the idea of oneday being able to send in a video of one's BodyFlow efforts to subsequently/maybe qulaify for the Team could really help spur people on.

Obviously we'd all need to be sensible about not just making our BodyFLow training as a means to an ends for Team selection (paraphrasing a wise man "Body Flow isn't just about the beginning and end of a movement, the middle is every bit as important".

    Once again, great idea

    Stay well everybody,
    Matt

    Awesome

I can't wait to see the requirements - definately a bar to aim for ( never a bad thing in training )

So what is going to be the purpose of Team BodyFlow ? what is envisioned ?

    Hmm on a similar note - maybe a Team Clubbell® too ?
Even if its just a goal for people to aim for that would be a worthwhile exercise ( especially since the OCS is currently a nogo.

So what is going to be the purpose of Team Body-Flow™ ? what is envisioned ?
In a word 110% pure inspiration.
The purpose is to take Body-Flow to such a High-level that people can't help but notice. To be the envy of every movement specialist in the world. Till the calls start sweeping in from places like Cirque de Soleil.

    Requirements:

1.This list isn't final but the applicant must have been obviously been working with Body-Flow for an extended amount of time.

2.We don't want people who are already acrobats, just adding Body-Flow we want people who have gone through the process like Max and I have.

3.I want people from the Tribe.

4.Don't post any demo videos of gymnastics we want to see stuff that we haven't seen before.

5.You must create new movement through innovation that aligns with the Body-Flow Doctrine.

6.You must understand how to sew any movement together through Match, Patch, & Hem from C3.

The test will be us taking the toughest Body-Flow movements and throwing them into a hat and picking a few them out for you to sew together.

If you think you got what it takes then send us a Short Video no more than (30 seconds) of a new Body-Flow movement that you created if we like it we will test you.

All entries must be able to post your results on the forum for everyone to see. We will not provide you with web space.

You may try as many times as you want because it will inspire others even if you fail.

    Good Luck!

    Great ideas Dan.

Love the fact that you have been very specific about the guidelines, especially regarding acrobats etc just doing some Body Flow.

I remember when I was training in Pilates, the guy teaching me was a "big-wig" from the UK with lots of knowledge about the workings of the industry. He commented how many of the photos of people performing Pilates (in books, adverts etc) are actually using dancers and gymnasts  , it's no wonder people get a false expectation of what they can expect to achieve from their Pilates (longer muscles, yeah right :!:  ).

Hope to make it into your crew one day.

    Stay well,
    Matt

I think the guidelines sound good!

I really encourage people to go for it. And i am exited to see the entries!

Women are most welcome! And would make a great asset to the team.

Let us all do great, have fun in the process and show the world that we got the FLOW!
