    My HW Clubbell® Has Arrived!

The HW arrived today and I was pleasantly suprised. I somewhat "overestimated" the 25er because I had underestimated the bruiser when I order it a year ago. I have no problems with all of the ABC exercises using the 25 and can even perform no choke, one handed cleans, pendulums and swipes. I can EVEN manage some full choke mills.

All in all, the 25 is one of the best investments I have made so far. Now I'm gonna have to figure out a decent routine to go with it!!

Bro - you're gonna have so much crazy fun!

Just be cautious with the one-handed stuff at first. It may seem surprisingly easy, but it will also be surprisingly easy to rip yourself up if you don't take it a little slowly at first.

Let us know how it goes!

Don't worry Jason, I'm gonna be careful with it. I'm kind of confused as to how I'm gonna approach my training though. I can do pretty much every exercise in the ABC manual AND I can do some basic one handed exercises. I'd like to mesh the two of them together .

    Mike-

Don't be surprised if you decide to get another 25# later on! I'm still having fun with my Brusier and 25#...soon I'm going to steal my other 25# back from my friend (for the joy of two handed "single work")!!!

    Have fun!!!

I hear ya, doing one handed work has really shed some light. I'm considering getting another 25 before I get a Jr. Bruiser.

I should note that the single handed work has really exposed some imbalances in my coordination and strength, my left side is much weaker!

    Mike-

I really understand what you mean! I've almost completely dropped ABC work with my Brusier right now and started back up with single hand work. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to "even up" routine wise (I've heard about the strategy of working the stronger side less so I've been focusing on that)...

I posted some thoughts regarding this on Mike's thread on the Program Design Help Desk forum.

    Jason-

Thanks for pointing me to Mike's thread! I can feel the gears ticking away in my head!! 8)

    Mike-

Thanks for starting you program design thread!! 8) I've been toying with some of the same thoughts that appear to be bouncing around in your head too. Haven't had the time to really focus on a new training cycle (been just playing around to keep up) but I think that you've helped motivate me to make time!
