    Healing slavic style

Hi guys, I would like some help in terms of deciding which methods I should practise and deepen to attain a deep level of good health.

As far as I can make out the main theme is intergration of movement, breathing and allignment.

Is their more to it than this?

If not then I think i'm allready equiped to attain my goal.

I have found that ww followed by meditation has transformed my self image into one of lightness and spirituality which I am very happy with.

I have bb ww max and bodyflow cb and z.

Is their anything else that any of you would recomend I do daily apart from stick with ww everyday using the intergrating breath from the z series until i'm ready to move on to bf, or maybe I should incorporate something from the max tapes.

Bassically I think what i'm trying to ask in an incoherent way is what is the slavic way of wisdom, the slavic way of healing.

    Thanks a lot!!

Yes! The thing that is NOT in the book, that you should know, is ....

    drum roll.....

    what you learn by doing.

So I would just dive in. Your own personal practice will tell you what to explore next.

    Edward -

Are you keeping a journal as previously recommended to you? With your particular challenges, it would be helpful if you kept an online Program Log on these forums.

Connie- thanks, i'm trying to do just that. I think what I was getting at is just wanting to know the components of health e.g. proprioception enhancenment or breath and movement intergration, so I could research it and make a long term plan.

I've been consistent with ww and am about to add bebreathed back in again now that i've re-strengthened my core with the Clubbell® swings.

Jason- I've been noting down this and that when and if it occurs but no I guess I haven't been keeping the journal as up to date as I could have to be honest.

I haven't got as much time lately for all of this. When I do have spare time I like to meditate, it's become a bit of an addiction now .

This past few days are the first time i've posted here for a while I think cuz of course work and so forth.

Thankyou to everyone one here for trying to help me out and reinforcing what coach Sonnon tells me. I know i'm a bit awkward sometimes but you guys got through to me and it's working.

    Thanks a lot!!

I really apreciate you saying that Scott.

You've seen quite a few sides of me over the years and so I guess you have watched me evolve so to speak.

Ok I see now. Well you know what you could do. You know how we are the discoverers of our own mastery.

You could make a version of what you think are the components of health for YOU, research the ones that seem best to do first, and then make a short term plan for progress. Then at the end you re-do the components of health for YOU from your new knowledge.

plan global - act local - look again at global

After the journal of course, which only takes 3 minutes and I sympathize with not doing it, I am not 100% every day either

    Thanks Connie, I hear you.

I think i'm gonna carry on with enhancing proprioception ala ww and trinity breathing and then i'm gonna add in some be-breathed for the core activation and intergration of breath.

I played basketball yesterday after an 8 year break and apart from my shooting which was poor I actually ploayed better than I used to be able to.

I'm pretty sure this is because of ww as I had much more awareness of my bodily position and relation to other players.

Also I think I experienced flow for a few seconds when I lost my balance while trying to dribble past someone and managed to twist and hook the ball round him and get it to my teammate before I hit the deck and slid for a couple of meters haha.

    Anyway thanks again Connie !!
