Coach Dan, I have been intrigued for a while now with your entry into bridges from a handstand style position ( ala your latest chain )

I was wondering if you had any tips on a progressing to this point.
I can doa handstand and I can do a bridge but have difficulty transitions to the bridge from the handstand.

The biggest part of it seems to be some fear of landing in an awkward position and hurting yourself. I always tend to land heavily and end up not being able to catch the brisdge, so i end up in a shoulder bridge instead..

My ideas for progressing to this are -

- handstand near wall ( facing away from wall ) and and lean feet towards wall and walk down to bridge.
- a spotter would be useful but i often don't have access to one.
- work the bridge position to strengthen my static strength in the position.

ps. I assume you are cont4rolling you decent via activation of your stomach muscles and your shoulders ?
