    AGONY: feature length motion picture

    Dear friends,

As you know I've had to pull away from forum frequency dedicating my time to organizational development of the instructor cadre and coaching staff, as well as the panoply of projects that RMAX has glutted me for 2005.

However, I've been keeping the lid on a major announcement until all of the papers were signed, sealed and delivered.

I've been contracted to star in a feature length motion picture called AGONY. Originally I was contacted to train the actor for the lead role since they wanted him dropping from 290 to 230lbs. In particular they want him training CST to drop down, since his character is a Clubbell® athlete in the movie. Yes, the entire Clubbell® line will have high visual placement in the film!

As it unfolded in the various interviews, they approached me to also choreograph the fight scenes (unarmed, knife, hangun and improv. weaponry).

However, through the preliminary discussions on choreography, they decided that in order to keep the "sexiness" of the choreography, they asked if I would be willing to star in the film itself, and modified the screen play to broaden the arch-nemisis' character development.

As it happens, through shifting around my schedule, I accepted the contract terms. This will be major exposure for CST, and really get the word out about our approach to physical culture.

Please understand that although not present like I used to be, I'm heavily involved in the proliferation of our system, as well as the ongoing research and development of our key RMAX product line. It pleases me to no end to come to the forum and see that the activity has not waned at all, and that you are all very active in the Socratic dialectic process of "Give Support - Get Support."

The first official movie trailer has been released!

Check it out at the official movie teaser:

How cool is that? Very sweet. Main character in a hollywood production potrayed as a Clubbell® athlete? Love it. Can't wait to see the fight scenes.

    Scott,

Somehow this move has seemed inevitable to me for about two to three years. Congratulations, and all I can say is it's about time someone figured out casting!

    Respectfully,
    Glenn

PS--The big problem I see is that the audience will think your movement is all special effects a la The Matrix or the Hong Kong chop socky films. Hopefully, you'll get the publicity and they'll figure out you really can do that and, what's more, teach other people to do it too!

Very cool! 8) This is great publicity, and a phenomenal opportunity to display the benefits you've realized from your own personal practice. From what you've shared, it sounds like an interesting action/adventure flick!

When will you start shooting, and do they also want to have a few extra CB athletes in the film for training/other scenes?

    Scott,

Great news!!! I wish you the best on your endeavor on the big screen!!! Looking forward to seeing the movie. I echo Jason's question, do they need any extras for the Clubbell® training or fight scenes??

    Take care,
    Chris
