The heroism in a story is judged by the challenge represented by the villain. The more intelligent/skilled/organized/ruthless/etc. the villain, the greater the good accomplished in overcoming them. I can also think of some movies where the villain was by far my favorite character because they were so well portrayed.
Be a great villain, and that alone can make the movie worth seeing over and over. (No pressure or anything. :wink: :P )
