    UGS

I have a question for everyone about the Ultimate Grappling Shoe. I have a wide foot. If I have the correct width, I can sometimes wear as small as a 10 1/2. If I have to buy a shoe in a standard width, I typically have to buy a 12. I typically wear a size 12 in wrestling shoes. Do the shoes stretch when you break them in? If so, how much? Has anyone else had this problem? If you have a pair of the UGS and have a wide foot, I would love to hear how they fit.

Seeing as I also take a size 12 and have a pair of UGS I will comment on my experience. I take a 12 wide which means I too need lots of room, I ordered a size 12 and although they do fit me they are a bit tight. It would have been perfect if they offered half sizes so I could have gone with a size 12.5. So, I have had my UGS for about 6 months but they haven't stretched out at all or worn down in any way. That is a good comment as far as durability but if you have a large size 12 it may be a tight fit.

LOL @ me fitting into anything less than a 12! How can you have a wide sized 12 and also fit in a 10.5 sometimes? Anyhow, I hope that helps some.

I typically wear a 9-9.5 EEEE, I went with a 10 in the UGS. They are a tiny bit long but otherwise fit just fine. I'd like to try a 9 just to find out if they fit just right but I'll probablly be waiting until my current ones wear out, which seems like it will be a while.

Same as Marty, here. I have wide boats. Good for grappling, not kind on American shoes.
