    Sad news....

It is with great sorrow that I pass this on to everyone here. For all of you that read or contributed articles or money to Dolfzine, I must inform you that Ron Dobrin died on Monday morning around 2am. This is second time in just a few months that the training world & Dolfzine have experienced a great loos. The other editor Rosemary Vernon died in October.

Per Rosemary's husband Jim Vernon, Dolfzine will not be taking any new submissions or contributions until further notice. He and Vince McConnell have many things to do including trying to get access to the site.

I would like to express my condolences to Ron's family and friends as well as to Jim and his family. Ron & Rosemary helped get me started writing training articles and gave me much encouragement and support and helped me to get a little recognition in the community. Although I am still a small player in the area they gave me as much encouragment as the big names.

Even after the article I wrote about the CST Beta and the hell that ensued after, Ron encouraged me to keep writing and I have. Hopefully Vince and Jim will be able to pick up or find someone who can, but it will be hard to find people as dedicated to the writers and readers and to fitness enthusiasts everywhaere as Ron and Rosemary were.

    Condolences

    Dave:

This is indeed sad. Ron responded to a note I sent him after Rosemary's death. He seemed like a wonderful man. My prayers and best wishes to his family.

Considering that Mel Siff also passed on this year, it's a time to be appreciate who and what are here to learn and grow from while we are able.

    Ken

Ron & Rosemary were great people that went out of their way to help others. With their passing and that of Mel Siff as you noted, this has been a rough year for many people in the fitness/training/coaching world.

All 3 will be sorely missed
