August 9, 2008 - UK seminar with Faculty Coach Murdock
CST for Martial Arts - featuring RMAX Faculty Coach Ryan Murdock
When: Saturday, August 9, 2008
Where: Unity Martial Arts Center, Farnham Common, Berkshire, England
Cost: £49
Contact: Vik Hothi, CST Instructor (mobile) 07742467761 (email) wtvik@yahoo.com
This event will cover:
•Introduction to Intu-Flow®, the Circular Strength Training® (CST) flagship that teaches you how to recover and refine the full range of motion of all of your joints, improve muscular coordination, and increase joint strength. Your ability to deliver blows and to apply your techniques begins and ends with range of motion, and this session will show you why. Each participant will also come away from this module with a clear assessment of their own major performance impediments, and how to address them.
•Introduction to biomechanical exercises from Body-Flow Prasara (Sanskrit for: “Flow without thought”). Excess tension hemorrhages performance. Body-Flow exercises help rid the body of excess tension by re-educating efficient movement patterns and reintegrating Breathing, Movement and Alignment. Putting these exercises together into Kinetic Chains allows you to train to access Flow state at will. Learn how and when to incorporate biomechanical exercises into your personal practice, how to apply them to address movement impediments, and how to use them to enhance performance on the spot in your martial art.
•Introduction to Metcon circuits, the cutting edge in MMA conditioning. You’ll learn the purpose and methodology behind metabolic conditioning circuits (Metcon), as well as state of the art techniques to speed your recovery between rounds by lowering heart rate and respiration. But it isn’t enough to just learn about it. You’ll also be put through a full metcon workout to experience what RMAX is doing with professional fighters right now.
...and if we have time...
•Renovating Traditional Martial Arts. Learn how to apply the RMAX Softwork – Hardwork Continuum and the Static, Fluid, Dynamic drill progression to take your TMA performance through the roof – immediately!
If you’re curious about how to use CST to enhance specific aspects of your performance, you will find this material incredibly useful.

Some feedback we've received from England's first CST seminar:
" From the humour of the host and Vik to the quality of information presented and how it was explained, I'm very pleased to have attended the seminar. I have learnt a lot of how the body should move. Information was easily broken down and able to understand. The metcon workout really gives you an insight into how someone should train and how people of RMAX train and their level of fitness. I feel honoured to have had a Faculty Coach take time out, spend time and teach me. And I feel special to have RMAX instructor Vik Hothi as my coach." - Paviter Singh Lall.
" It was a brilliant seminar, covered a lot of info. The best part was that it was broken down and easy to follow. I gained a lot of knowledge and specific things to improve my movements and joint mobility. Brilliantly explained, step by step. Coach Ryan was a good person to train with. Thanks for the training Coach!" - Navdeep Khara
" Very good seminar. Has highlighted areas/muscles that need careful attention and awakening. Plenty of information to take home and work with to aid in improving my martial arts ability." - Mark Curnoch
" Great information! Excellent tips and ways of training! It was broken down really well and I felt I learnt a fair amount and it helped a lot." - Melanie Menezes
" Excellent content. Good tips and training methods. Good end workout (metcon). Good feedback into how to adapt content to my own martial arts." - Gav Khara
" I have learnt a lot of new ways to improve my IMAS training, how to make my movements more efficient, how to greatly improve my recovery rates and make me an overall more efficient fighter. Detailed and informative." - Kane Braich
" Very good seminar. I have learnt a lot of ways to maximize the use of my body and joints instead of my muscle! I hope I can carry on with the exercises and prevent injuries from happening!" - Jamie Baxter
